The final peninsula we drove to (and around) was Beara. It’s one of the southern most peninsulas in Ireland. Between the drive to get there from Dingle and the 4 hours it took to drive around it, we spent the entire day in the car. It was beautiful but much of the road was not along the coast so we missed half of the views. The hotel we stayed in was also our least favorite of all the accommodations. We actually wished that we had spent an extra day in Dingle instead of Beara. However, it was still lovely as you’ll see in the video. The next day we drove back to Dublin (5-6 hours) for one last evening before flying back to France the next day. I must say it was a big let-down to return to Chambery after such a wonderful week in Ireland.

This is nothing but beautiful Cynthia and loved the mournful music. Were you mourning your leaving too? Sounds like it!
