Hiking in the Foothills of the French Alps: Journeys on Foot

A few months back we went hiking in the Bauges Park, which is in the foothills of the Alps not far from Chambery. There are lots of hidden and hard to find trails throughout the region that are mostly known only to the locals. Since I’m married to a ‘local,’ he knew about one that we decided to take. It was about a mile in and a mile out but the waterfall at the end of the trail was worth seeing. Enjoy the hike with us or come see the scenery yourself on our French Alps Tours!
